Rhertorical Analysis

The rhetorical analysis assignment helped me learn how to effectively use ethos, pathos, and logos when reading an article over the Internet, from a newspaper, or any source I find. Ethos is used to verify the credibility. Pathos is used to see if the author uses any emotion to evoke the reader any bias towards the subject the author is talking about. Logos is used to evaluate the logical standpoint the author has taken. When evaluating the logos of an author, a good validate his point is to see if their sources are credible. For example if an author decides to use Wikipedia as a source do you think this is a credible source? Well with all the heat Wikipedia has been getting because of the fact that anyone can just go on a page and completely change what ever was written before to complete garbage should be enough to say that the author is not using valid sources.
An annotated bibliography is primarily used to summarize up the sources you are going to be using in a paper. In our upcoming paper this will be one of our requirements in order to stay organized and on top of things.
